Superlimão has just completed the renovation of the Riccó showroom in São Paulo. The project marks a new phase in a partnership that began nine years ago when the firm was responsible for the building's facade design. Located on a highly visible corner of Av. Brasil in São Paulo, the store utilizes its entire perimeter as a showcase. The flexible facade allows for the creation of different settings, lighting, and backgrounds, while also establishing a more direct connection with the interior, which was previously more enclosed. Inside, the contrast is created by the choice of organic lines and soft forms, which are set against the complex geometry of the exterior volume. The architectural strategy also highlights the use of natural light: the meeting rooms were moved from the perimeter to the center, freeing up circulation and ensuring transparency. The circulation area around these rooms is covered with carpet, which helps with acoustics and user comfort, while the main floor, made of terrazzo, provides durability and easy maintenance. Area rugs define specific zones, reinforcing the layout's flexibility. Acoustics are addressed in an integrated way, with pressed PET wool panels applied between the roof's ribs and on internal elements. In the main meeting room, privacy is ensured by curtains that run along curved glass, creating a continuous and seamless effect. The design also incorporates elements inspired by Riccó's new brand identity: curved patterns applied to the acoustic panels extend from one room to another, providing unity to the space and reinforcing the atmosphere of comfort and innovation.
