Accor
São Paulo
Superlimão designed the refurbishment of the entrance lounge at the Brazilian headquarters of Accor, the global hotel chain. The project began by highlighting the company's collection of awards and evolved into a complete transformation of the space, which was conceived to convey a sense of belonging, sustainability, and celebration.
The intervention introduced an integrated coffee area, ergonomic furniture, and informal meeting points. Biophilic elements were incorporated, such as the conversion of an old slide into a large planter, combining well-being with the reuse of existing structures. Some of the furniture was kept and given new finishes, reinforcing the guideline for waste reduction.
The project also includes bins for selective waste collection and a scenic composition of suspended petals and light fixtures that evoke the bird that is Accor's symbol.
With a reduced scale but strong symbolic value, the lounge is established as a space for social interaction, corporate identity, and institutional memory.
