High Turnover

São Paulo

Superlimão designed the new Alto Giro stores, a fitness and beachwear brand that focuses on versatile, flexible, and comfortable products for its users during sports activities. For the São Paulo store, located on the ground floor of Ibirapuera Shopping Mall (one of the city's most traditional malls), the firm focused on visual aspects that stand out from the hallways leading to the store. To achieve this, they opted for a facade free of enclosures, developing a completely open and accessible store and window display concept. To align with the brand's ethos, which combines technology and sustainability in the creation of its collections, the store design follows the same path. Walls, furniture, and curtains are made from recycled plastic, as is the anchored acoustic ceiling made from recycled PET. Eco-friendly mineral paint was used for the paintwork. In terms of technology, the LED panel stands out, serving as a backdrop for both the window display and the displays, keeping the store constantly moving. This notion of movement was one of the project's main challenges, solved by the round interior volume—a break from the conventional pattern of other retail outlets, which are generally square or rectangular. The architecture proposes a path that begins with the brand awareness experience, passes through the products, and ends in the fitting rooms. There are two types of fitting rooms in the store. One is dedicated to the user's experience of sports: the customer can try on and try on clothing, choosing a personalized activity based on the sport they want to practice. This gives the customer greater confidence in their purchase. Movement and the connection to sports also emerge with the creation of a gentle ramp in this circular path. Its presence creates different levels in the store and reinforces the sports experience. The metalwork displays follow the spiral layout and were designed to facilitate assembly and adapt to new product layouts. Detailed fittings were created between each metalwork module, ensuring that all displays were assembled within the store.
