Estar Móveis

São Paulo

Located in a corner building, the store was designed to reflect the contemporary collection and the brand's new language. The brand has been operating in the market for 60 years and, in this new venture, seeks a new aesthetic language imbued in its products and architecture. To achieve this, the location, which features a curved building set back behind a square, was analyzed, as well as the product display needs. The decision was made to create a large opening in the facade with an auxiliary metal structure in a location visible to pedestrians and car drivers on this busy street. The hexagonal shape of the facade was used, sometimes opaquely, sometimes semi-translucent, creating a movement between right and curved angles while simultaneously shaping the openings, which are sometimes explicit, as in the main window, and other times more discreetly insinuated to encourage visitors. Inside the store, a shipping container door is visible, used for lifting large pieces that cannot be transported by stairs. The masonry was stripped and exposed in its raw state, and the lighting uses the existing structure for its fixation, providing the greatest possible flexibility for displaying products in the store. Inspired by the unusual architectural proposal, visual artist Felipe Morozini is the creative director of ESTAR GABRIEL's objects, furniture, and art. With the aim of humanizing and breaking away from showroom standards, the curator proposes unpretentious and humorous spaces that evoke history, nostalgia, emotion, and the feeling of being at home, so that visitors feel at home. At the helm of ESTAR MÓVEIS, Edith Diesendruck and Raquel Fogelman celebrate the 61st anniversary of the company, which has established itself as a benchmark for setting trends in the Brazilian furniture and design market. Success is reflected in the refined selection of high-quality products and the partnership with artists and designers to create original products with a Brazilian identity. This innovative perspective combines with acquired experience and the constant challenge of offering the most beautiful and the best at affordable prices. The result is the growth and strengthening of the brand, a success spanning six decades.
