Lina: A Tribute to the City and Architecture of Lina Bo Bardi
In Jardins, just steps from Avenida Paulista, the Lina residential building pays homage to Lina Bo Bardi and the urban landscape that inspired her work. For Superlimão, creating the interiors of the common areas was a chance to connect architecture, design, and the city in a fluid and meaningful narrative.
In the entrance hall, Avenida Paulista takes on a new interpretation in an openwork metal panel illuminated by LEDs – a poetic map of the surroundings. On the floor, Bardi's Bowl, an iconic armchair designed by Lina, sets the tone, while the red acoustic ceiling dominates the ceiling, bringing intensity to the space.
At the center of the project, a cube covered in a parametric wooden panel organizes the circulation and conceals functions such as bathrooms, a kitchen, and a gym. At the same time, it creates a natural transition between the party room and the pool area, seamlessly connecting the spaces.
The party room features a blue acoustic ceiling and versatile furniture to adapt to different uses, while the pool combines textures and materials reminiscent of nature: green marble in the shower and hydraulic tiles from the Orgânico line, created by Superlimão, appear from the bathrooms to the bottom of the pool, creating a unique identity.
In the playroom, scale is key: for children, upholstered wave-shaped slides ensure safe fun; for adults, standard-sized tables and chairs make supervision more comfortable. The pergola was retained, ensuring natural light and reinforcing the connection with the outdoors.
At Lina, each space carries a story—of the city, the architecture, and the landmarks that shape the perspective of those who pass by.
